The aim of the work is to adapt the existing or projected building to the standard of an energy-efficient or low-energy building. The main criterion for achieving the energy efficiency standard is the requirement for utility energy for heating ≤ 70 [kWh/m2 year] and for the low energy standard ≤ 45 [kWh / m2 year]. Adaptation is comprehensive and covers all building components that affect its energy efficiency.
Perform energy analysis of the house based on the existing project
Identification of possible improvements and their impact on the energy balance of the building. The improvements will be aimed at:
a. reduction of heat loss through penetration - increase of insulation of the outer partitions, reduction of thermal bridges, use of modern window frames
b. reduce heat loss to the ventilation - the use of mechanical ventilation supply and exhaust heat recovery, and examining the validity of the implementation of a ground heat exchanger
c. Improving the energy efficiency of the heating system
d. Improving the energy efficiency of the domestic hot water system
Selection of the optimal set of modernization improvements:
a. Presenting to the investor the influence of particular improvements on the energy performance of the building
b. Consultation with the investor to select the optimal set of improvements
Development of detailed solutions which constitute technical and economical assumptions for energy-saving home version. Specific solutions will be:
a. Solutions of structural details free to thermal bridges
b. how to install window frames
c. Consultation on the design of the ventilation system and ground heat exchanger
d. Consultation on the design of the heating system and the preparation of domestic hot water
Determining the heat demand for heating the building and calculating the heating power for the energy efficient home version.
Calculation of the estimated annual heating costs in the standard heating season
