Objective: |
“The aim of the project is to improve compliance, reliability, usability and convergence of the EPCs across the EU, while at the same time supporting the evolution towards a next-generation and future-proof EPC-framework. By identifying strengths and weaknesses of current EPC schemes, understanding of the end-users’ needs regarding EPCs a toolbox will be developed to guide policy makers towards a next-generation energy performance certification scheme. The modular structure of the toolbox will cover aspects such as the smartness level of a building, comfort, verification and how to embed EPCs in broader concepts like building logbooks or EPC databases. This will allow policy makers to improve or implement the modules relevant for them, depending on country-specific aspects, needs and willingness of adaptation. “ |
